Objective
The smooth and optimal support within the procurement, logistics, material planning and despatch processes of the subsidiary is guaranteed by using modern logistics methods and systems. Economic aspects, the standard tools and procedures of the company and legal requirements are taken into consideration to achieve highest customer satisfaction at utmost efficiency.
Main targets
? The logistics processes (e.g. purchase, warehousing, materials planning, indoor sales and transportation) in the subsidiary are ensured in the scope of technical and business administration aspects and continuously optimised.
? The strategic and tactical coordination and management of all warehouse operations support the customer satisfaction with high efficiency.

Key tasks
? The job holder is completely responsible for the entire logistics department including purchase and all warehouse related tasks.
? Efficiently organize the operating process, especially the ERP-supported processes, like materials management and inventory control.
? Identify failures and problems in the running operation in the short-term and find solutions internally or by a reliable external partner.
? Implementation of well-timed and correcting activities that would be necessary to ensure the optimal logistics operation.
? Ensure that the used logistics hard- and software products are with adequate standards to guarantee the company?s operation and the economic efficiency.
? The warehouse staff are well-trained and supervised for their job in the logistics area.
? Apply and optimize processes to ensure the safety of the staff in the warehouse areas.
? Ensure that the available ERP system is used as the leading resource and planning system.
Procurement
? The complete procurement and material planning processes and workflows with all national and international suppliers are personally done to ensure customers? satisfaction.
? All item-related master data and planning parameters (e.g. reorder points or economic order quantities) are permanently controlled, adjusted and updated to present demands and sales forecasts.
? Adequate material planning methods are fully integrated and utilized on daily basis.
? The company?s EDI procedures are established and in use.
? Purchase is controlled by standard reporting and performance analysis on a regular basis.
? All required freight carriers are coordinated, their prices and conditions are negotiated regularly for the benefits of the Company. Approval of relevant invoices is done with verification of costs charged to customers and disputes (if any) resolved with the forwarders and or other suppliers.
? Coordination of all supply-chain matters and logistics development with the Logistics Center at the headquarters.
? Handling all necessary import and export duties with customs and forwarding agencies.

Wiedza, umiejętności i doświadczenie

? Holder of diploma/university degree in logistics or a comparable education.
? At least three years of appropriated experience in logistics management, with thorough knowledge of the Dubai Custom regulations for import into free zone and export to GCC / non-GCC countries and to Free Zone areas in the UAE.
? Knowledge of the MS Office product range as well as an integrated standard software solution as for example BaaN, SAP, Oracle applications or similar
? Experience in the supervising and realization of projects
? Experience in guiding, coaching and training a group of employees
