Role

We seek a fit for a Renewable Projects Senior Developer position. The role is based in Warsaw, Poland.

Responsibilities

Manage development activities of utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects from feasibility to the start of construction Engage with staff to coordinate energy assessment, environmental, permitting, transmission interconnection, land acquisition, and design activities Support energy offtake, financing, and project M&A discussions, including due diligence activities Ensure projects are progressing on schedule and within budget Obtain local project permits  Select, manage, and direct third party consultants and review their reports Engage with landowners and stakeholders to provide information throughout the development process Review project pro forma financial models Evaluate the viability of early-stage and acquisition projects Conduct site visits to define site characteristics and develop relationships with local stakeholders Represent the company in industry advocacy groups Remain abreast of renewable energy opportunities in the United States and the national industry trends impacting the future of wind and renewable development opportunities and their competitiveness as they relate to customers. Represent the company at the national wind and renewable energy events as a speaker, panelist, and wind energy leader Qualifications Minimum 7 years of project development experience in renewable energy. Bachelor’s degree required. The focus on Engineering or Economics is preferred. Proven record of accomplishment in renewable energy development, including experience taking projects through financing. Experience with utility-scale storage projects preferred. Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve potential project flaws and to prioritize critical path tasks. Track record of successfully working with public officials to obtain development permits. Working knowledge of technical development disciplines, including interconnection, resource assessment, turbine operation, GIS, etc.
